Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the relationship between Saemunan Law Office (the Firm) and users of the Saemunan Law & Form online service (the Service). By submitting an inquiry or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- The Service means the online legal intake and communication tools provided by the Firm.
- User means any person or organisation that accesses the Service and requests assistance.
- Client engagement begins only after the Firm issues a written retainer and receives confirmation.
Article 3 (Posting and Revision of Terms)
The Firm posts the latest version of these Terms on the Service landing pages. The Firm may amend the Terms to reflect legal requirements or service changes. When material updates are made, a notice will be provided through the site with the revised effective date.
Article 4 (Scope of Services)
The Service supports digital onboarding and communication for matters such as:
- tenant protection filings and housing related legal remedies
- pre litigation agreements and dispute resolution support
- inheritance, renunciation, and limited approval applications
- corporate establishment, governance changes, and annual compliance
- other legal consultations and document assistance offered by the Firm
Article 5 (Service Availability)
The Firm endeavours to keep the Service available at all times. Temporary suspension may occur for system maintenance, upgrades, network disruptions, or events beyond the Firm's control. The Firm will make reasonable efforts to restore availability promptly.
Article 6 (User Obligations)
Users agree to provide accurate information and must not engage in the following activities:
- submitting false or misleading data in any application
- impersonating another individual or organisation
- altering or removing materials posted by the Firm
- transmitting malicious code or unauthorised automated scripts
- violating intellectual property or confidentiality obligations
Article 7 (Fees and Engagement Letters)
Fees for legal representation are quoted individually after the Firm reviews the matter. Submission of an online form does not create an attorney client relationship until both parties sign a retainer and the agreed fee is confirmed.
Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)
The Firm is not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by natural disasters, power failures, network outages, or other force majeure events. The Firm is not responsible for outcomes influenced by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the User.
Article 9 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising from the Service will be submitted to the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
Supplementary Provision
These Terms take effect on 1 January 2025.
